What is Swaddy?
Vision
Swaddy is a nurse initiative and it was born from the need to reduce the stress of the newborns and provide tools to the care team to support the little ones in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), creating friendly and reassuring spaces.
Product
01. Three sizes that allow Swaddy to be adapted to each weight, length and head circumference.
02. The central band provides an individualized fit, favoring the hand-to-hand and hand-to-mouth position, very conciliatory in newborns.
03. The feet remain inside the bag that acts as a physical limit, simulating the wall of the mother’s womb, with an adjustable degree of flexion.
04. Swaddy facilitates the alignment of the head-trunk-limbs, favoring cerebral flow and avoiding deformities due to prolonged inadequate postures.

the comfort and well-being of the newborn.
Material
Swaddy’s composition is polyamide-elastane. This comfortable knitting, soft to the touch, breathable and elastic, allows the baby’s mobility and easily adapts to their needs.
Individualized anterior and perimeter adjustment with protected mechanisms to avoid skin lesions.
Delicate touches
Internal seams, which avoid producing injuries in the newborn’s immature skin.
Elements designed to facilitate the position and fixing of external elements such as cables, probes or sensors.
When to use
- Swaddy is a device for very preterm (28 – 32 weeks of age) and extremely preterm (< 28 weeks of age) newborns
- Hospital use only
- Its use at home is not indicated
